Aidan Cohall is a 2022 2B/RHP, UT with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Cortlandt Manor, NY who attends Walter Panas. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a high waist, long and lean frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, fields the ball out front with two hands, moves well on the charge with shorter/quicker strides, glove plays at the ball, opens front side early at times in release. Also pitched, simple operation on the mound with a belt high leg lift, comes down the mound well and shows a short and compact arm action working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, shows running life at times with arm speed through the back, worked to the bottom of the zone when on time; showed sharpness to slider with depth and tilt up to 69 mph. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; loose hands and a fast bat through the zone with lift to swing path. Projects well with added strength, creates whip with the barrel and shows nice life off the barrel to pull side. Excellent student. Named to the Fall Northeast Top Prospect List.
