Mark Trotta is a 2019 3B/MIF with a 6-1 177 lb. frame from Cranberry, PA who attends Seneca Valley HS. Large frame with slender, highly athletic present build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open, narrow-based stance; pulls way back into load and takes large stride, creates some separation. Swings hard with intent and gets on clean line drive swing plane with quality hands, made consistently firm contact, especially in game action. Worked out in the infield, clean footwork to both sides with good athleticism, fields cleanly and gets rid of the ball quickly, especially comfortable working up the middle on defense. Quality accuracy on throws as well. Excellent student.
