Matthew Shirah is a 2020 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Blue Ridge, GA who attends Fannin County HS. Recorded a 7.81 second 60-yard dash time. Tall and long-limbed frame with lots of physical projection remaining on the frame. Primary righhanded pitcher with fluid mechanics. Small step behind the rubber with a long arm action through release. Consistent down in the strike zone with a clean arm circle behind. Creates lots of downhill plane when he gets on top of the baseball. Stays tall on the backside when driving to the plate. Gets down the mound well with good stride length. Secondary first baseman with fluid actions and arm strength recorded up to 79 mph across the infield. Righthanded hitter with a wide base. Short stride to the ball and creates natural leverage in the swing. Downhill swing plane and upper body dominant swing. Tremendous student.
