Jared White is a 2023 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Southlake Carroll. Large and strong frame, physically advanced. Primary righthanded pitcher, utilizes a quick delivery on the mound with tempo at the start, takes his arm back to a full arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, stays tall on his back side and the arm is loose with plenty of projectable arm speed moving forward. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with frequent life to armside, mixes in a curveball with 12-6 shape and sharpness, changeup has fading action to it and he will lower the arm slot at times on the pitch, shows feel for 3 pitches that each project well, works quickly and threw lots of strikes. Secondary first baseman, showed athletic actions around the bag, moves off of the base quickly with a sure glove fielding the ball out in front. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a slightly open stance and high hand set, long swing path that starts with a short stride into contact, takes a downhill swing with some strength at impact.
