Reece Bolton is a 2019 LHP/1B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Wilmington, DE who attends Salesianum High School. Extra-large, broad shouldered frame with long limbs, high waist, and present strength throughout frame. Primary lefthanded pitcher, shows athleticism to delivery with balance throughout and at apex of mechanics, slight coil at top of leg lift, short stride down the mound and projects with additional lower half incorporated into drive down the mound. Topped out at 79 mph with fastball from a mid three-quarters arm slot, ball comes out well and shows natural cut action towards the plate. Feel to mix as well, flashed a knuckleball at 64 mph as well as a 12-6 shaped curveball with nice depth at 68 mph. Nice potential on the mound. Lefthanded hitter, upright stance in the box with a high back elbow. Line drive swing plane through the zone, opens front side early at times, pull side approach at the plate, contact approach. Very good student.
