Blake Loftus is a 2017 SS/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Kennewick, WA who attends Kennewick. Loftus has a medium sized frame with a lean athletic build. Defensively he has good infield actions and is light on his feet to the baseball. Loftus has some arm looseness with arm strength up to 76 across the infield. He also showed solid actions in the outfield with arm strength up to 81 MPH. Loftus made a nice sliding play in game while playing second base where he showed good athleticism. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance and stays open. He has a still start and made solid barrel contact in BP. He has developing bat speed with line drive pop. Very good student.
