Steele Chambers is a 2019 OF/MIF/C with a 6-2 217 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Catholic HS. Extra-large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned well throughout. Ran a 6.88 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes longer strides moving towards the ball and uses a short crow hop to generate momentum, compact arm action with tight release, works around the bag with throws and shows strength out of the hand. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and lowers at start of swing, slightly open stance and utilizes a leg raise trigger for timing. Upper body dominant swing, stays short to the ball and incorporates physical strength well. Shows bat speed through the zone, line drive swing plane with contact to the middle of the field, shows jumps off the barrel when squared. Excellent student.
