Chad Call is a 2019 SS/2B/3B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Mission Viejo, CA who attends Mater Dei HS. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to build, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows good energy moving towards the ball with plenty of quickness to footwork, works through the ball well with clean actions, gets on top of throws and shows arm strength across, clean funnel into a quick transfer and release. Lefthanded hitter, utilizes a simple approach at the plate and shows present barrel skills with ability to create steady contact. Has a plan at the plate and does a nice job of getting the barrel out front, stays in the zone for a good while while working the middle of the field. Gets the barrel to the ball and projects with additional physical strength. Very good student.
