Andrew (Drew) Millas is a 2016 C/MIF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Swansea, IL who attends Belleville East HS. Has a lean frame, athletic build, and room to fill out more physically as he continues to add strength. Posted a 6.89 second sixty yard dash. From behind the plate, receives balls both cleanly and strongly, has a very quick transfer into throws. Outstanding arm strength behind the plate on throws. Also has ability to be a high level defender on the infield showing clean fielding actions with great hands. Arm strength was equally impressive throwing 90 MPH on accurate throws across. Switch hitter at the plate. From the right-side, has a deep hand load and a high leg lift. Has good strength off the barrel with the bat speed. Will have more consistent results from the right-side as his tools further develop and slight hitch in load is worked out. From the left side, showed consistently hard barrels with quick hands and ability to drive a ball into the gap, ball jumps hard off the barrel. Currently has much more rhythm from the left side. Great tool set with capability of performing well at the next level. Outstanding student. Named to 2016 National Indoor Top Prospect List. Committed to Missouri State University.
