Jackson Arnold is a 2019 RHP/SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn HS. Slender young build, middle infielder look. Cross body delivery with a quick arm coming through, good gather on his backside before exploding to the plate, 3/4's arm slot that will occasionally get lower, creates ground ball contact when he gets the ball down in the zone. Fastball topped out at 91 mph early, tends to get under curveball with a slower arm, will need to learn to stay on top of breaking ball. Understandably appeared tired from a full summer, up to 92 earlier with better command and consistency. Right handed hitter, exaggerated open stance, long line drive swing, upper half rotational swing. Good student.
