Andrew Duran is a 2019 1B/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Covina, CA who attends Northview HS. Strong broad shouldered build. Right handed hitter, high leg lift trigger with a busy load, may have to simplify approach to establish better timing, has plenty of bat speed once he gets it in the zone, ball comes off the barrel hard with power potential, can turn the barrel and pull and lift the ball when on time, will keep improving with adjustments. 7.33 runner, has some athletic actions at first base, moves well, loose arm with good arm strength for the position, can continue to improve picking technique. Chance if he can keep improving with the bat.
