Michael Esposito is a 2018 LHP/ with a 5-10 158 lb. frame from Port Washington, NY who attends The Gunnery. Medium frame with compact, athletic build. Primary lefthanded pitcher; exclusive stretch, pitches from extreme 3B side of rubber, good direction to delivery, offline arm stroke with slight stab through the back, creates lots of angle to the plate from three quarters slot. Fastball worked 82-86 mph with lots of arm side life; fastball proved overpowering when in zone. Curveball has slurvy shape but legitimate bite to it. Hits from slightly open stance with narrow base, balanced leg lift trigger, loads up back hip well, torques hips well into swing, consistently drove the ball on a line to center field, showed legitimate pop to pull field as well.
