Frank Delguercio is a 2017 LHP/1B with a 6-0 202 lb. frame from Millstone, NJ who attends Allentown High School. Medium, athletic frame with solid strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 5.69 40-yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, shows a slight hip turn at top of delivery during load before generating angle to fastball from a high three-quarters arm slot. Arm works well through the back and shows some life as well as downhill plane to either side, topping at 73 mph. Lands slightly closed with front foot, curveball shows 1-7 shape with some depth while slider is thrown harder and shows short life down in the zone. Compact arm action on throws from first base, short steps coming off the bag, fields cleanly and shows a quick release. Righthanded hitter, shows balance throughout swing and works the middle of the field well. Full swing through the zone with good extension out front, good path to the ball and gets the barrel to it. Shows jump off the barrel when squared up. Very good student.
