WP - Robert Mann is a 2005 OF/1B/3B from Albuquerque, NM. At 6 foot 6 and 210 pounds Mann has the body of a Pro athlete already with lots of room for projection He handles it well showing coordination and he ran a 6.99 in the 60. He has enough speed to cover ground in the OF, but we liked the way he handled the 1B bag even better. His arm plays better at 1B also as it's probably not his biggest strength. He swings fluid with a slight uppercut and he showed easy gap power. There is a lot of power potential in that body, so we have the feeling he will end up getting draft interest as a power hitting 1Bman. His swing is a beauty from the left side and the ball really jumps off his wood bat. Needs to be followed closely as a big athlete who can hit with power.
