David Legg is a 2007 3B/2B with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame from Murrieta, CA, who attends Vista Murrieta HS. Lean, athletic frame with wiry strength. Legg is excellent on defense showing arm strength, nice footwork, and soft hands. Legg is a good corner infielder with quick hands and a good transfer. He also shows body control on slow rollers, and has solid range. Legg is a secondary second baseman and has the ability to make the pivot at second base turning the double play. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a spread stance with a short stride. Legg has solid bat speed and makes consistent line drive contact to all fields. He keeps his hands in well on the inside pitch, and uses his hands well throughout his swing. Runs the bases well with quickness and instincts. Legg is a smart player who knows the game. He is a player to follow, and is an excellent student as well.
