Easton Kleyn is a 2024 C/2B, 3B, SS with a 5-10 171 lb. frame from Gardendale, AL who attends Gardendale. Medium frame with a lean build showing broad shoulders. Ran a 7.85 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting low in his stance as he proved to be flexible with the lower half. Reaches for the baseball at times. Quick transfer and gains ground on throw downs. Accurate around the bag as he recorded a pop time of 2.25 seconds. Secondary Second Baseman, proving to have some lateral range as he worked into the baseball with smooth actions. Gathers out front and funnels to the waist. Quick release and proved to be accurate with throws. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from a wider base and keeps the hands compact to the body. Creates separation as he strides out. Creates whip with the bat head as he fires the hands through the zone. Contact over power as he found the barrel consistently. Great Student.
