Marisa Cordero is a 2027 C/1B, 3B, OF from Elkhart, IA who attends North Polk. Marisa is a solid defensive catcher who also has the ability to play the corners. Showcased a strong throw from her feet to second base and did a good job keeping the ball on a line. Was an active receiver did a good job moving her feet to get her body behind the ball. Offensively, she is a lefty stand in hitter who has a strong upper body to the ball. Generates good barrel whip and does a great job utilizing both sides of the field. As she continues to develop and constantly use her Lower half she is going to have some big power potential. Big upside for Marisa as she continues to develop on the field. Excited to see where she takes her game as she continues to work.
