Colt DeHart is a 2026 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Franklin, IN who attends Indian Creek Sr. Recorded a 6.94 second sixty yard dash time, showcasing good speed. Long and lanky frame with room to fill, projects very well moving forward. Primary outfielder with an aggressive approach to the ball, fields it off the front foot and shows clean footwork and glovework. The throwing motion is passive, would like to see more intent upon release. Also worked out at first base, is a serviceable secondary position for him. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a short and compact arm circle that comes through clean, the arm is quick and twitchy. Very projectable overall with natural arm talent present, works with good tempo and rhythm in his delivery. At his best when working from the windup and can throw his baseball to both sides of the plate, tends to spray it around and lose velo out of the stretch. Can throw the curveball for strikes or for swing and miss, flashed a good knuckle ball as well. Solid outing with a high upside moving forward. Impressed from the left-side of the plate. Showed an open stance with a high back elbow set and utilized a small leg lift trigger. Has present bat sped with good impact off the barrel, can really drive the ball to his pull side and create lift when on time and squared. Produced loud contact both in BP and in game, has good balance and rhythm to the swing. Lots of pieces to like and project on, will be a prospect to follow closely. Excellent student.
