Hunter Fryman is a 2026 C/MIF with a 6-1 178 lb. frame from Marshfield, MO who attends Marshfield. Athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Primary catcher on defense, quick out of the crouch with fundamental footwork, clean transfers, no wasted movement and a big arm with carry and accuracy to the bag. 1.87 showcase pop time and threw 82 mph from the position. The footwork and athleticism in the middle infield to move laterally with pace, softer hands out front and works through the baseball. Showed a big arm up to 88 mph across the diamond and consistent on target throws. Hit form a wide base, hand speed in the swing with a direct path to the baseball, compact level bat path and a synced up swing with feel for the barrel. Excellent student. Named to the PG Kansas City Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
