KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Afternoon Session
Alexis Voss is a 5'3, class of 2024, IF from Dexter, IA who attends Earlham Senior. Alexis is a young athlete with a developing game that is based on a solid fundamental foundation. She ran an impressive 3.24 20-yard dash, which is an advanced time for her age group. Her 1.05 5-yard split was also a plus. Alexis is an infielder with a sound idea on playing on the dirt. Her effort level was noticeable. Very positive in/with her body language. Solid footwork. She is measured, but sure with her positioning. Her glove work is steady and she transitions well. Her 55-mph throws are routine and her accuracy is consistent. At the plate, Alexis shows a sound understanding of the bunt game. She gives great effort at the plate. When on time and on path, she can contact the ball well. Shows a fairly flat path and has a chance to add power as she physically matures, adds some strength and is exposed to higher level competition. Solid approach. Alexis has the right idea. She obviously enjoys playing and the game appears important to her. Her game is on a solid path and with continued attention to detail, she will reach all of her goals! Hopeful prospect!

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
