Sam Flippin is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Richmond, VA who attends Freeman. Medium height and very slender build with plenty of room to bulk. Ran a 7.42 in the sixty yard dash. A primary outfielder, smooth strides and solid angles to the ball, conviction at release on the throws and stays in line. A right-handed hitter, narrow stance and a lower hand set. Small stride and good rhythm, works his hands uphill with a middle of the field approach. Good timing and bat to ball skills. A secondary pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch. Stays linear with an over the top release and threw three pitches for strikes.
