Gavin Jones is a 2022 RHP with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from North Royalton, OH who attends North Royalton. Extra-large, athletic frame with a broad shoulder build and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Right-handed pitcher, works quickly on the mound and attacks hitters, simple turn into delivery with a leg lift up to belt, higher take back from hand break, works to a three-quarters release point and generates extension out front. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, generates nice plane on the pitch to the bottom of the zone, mostly true in life but flashes running life to arm side. Filled up the strike zone with a full arsenal, curveball shows 11-5 shape and short depth up to 74 mph; slider plays like a cutter through the zone up to 81 mph and shows sharpness in life at times while flashing a changeup at 76 mph.
