Carter Grande is a 2025 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Midland Park, NJ who attends St. Joseph Regional. Nice young athletic build with plenty of projection and strength potential. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright straight stance with a hanging front leg load, tends to stay on his backside during his swing, rotational swing, gets extended and has some young strength to drive his bat speed, flashed pull side juice, projects well as a hitter with normal development and additional strength. Primary third baseman on defense, has smooth athletic actions to the ball and moves well laterally, clean hands at the ball, changes arm slots well, has some natural flow defensively. Also pitched, has a simple delivery with good balance and direction, hides the ball well in back and creates some deception. Fastball topped out at 79 mph with occasional cutting action, threw strikes with his fastball. Curveball and change up were both solid secondary pitches for him and he used them effectively. Good all around young player who will keep improving. Very good student.
