Elliot Hamilton is a 2022 C/3B, SS with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Glastonbury, CT who attends Glastonbury. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sound actions behind the plate, slight turn at start in drills, shows flexibility, receives well out front, gains ground with lower half coming out of crouch, shows big carry and arm strength on throws down to second base, actions project moving forward. Moves well in the infield, works through the backhand well, good carry on throws across the diamond, higher slot on throws, good balance on the charge. Athleticism plays at first base, spins well and shows footwork away from the bag, ball comes out cleanly, controls body well. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Stays short to the ball and shows quickness to hands, works on a mostly linear plane through the zone. Utilize strength well to generate present bat speed, utilizes a leg lift trigger, occasionally gets to front side early but shows strength in hands. Very good student. Named to Fall Connecticut Top Prospect List.
