Jacob Schubert is a 2021 RHP/3B, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Maricopa, AZ who attends Maricopa. He ran a 7.86 second sixty. A primary right-handed pitcher with an average build showing length to fill out. On the mound he starts with a small side step into a belt high leg lift, he does a nice job staying tall on the back side with a shorter stride down the mound throwing into a stiff front side, the fastball showed pretty true in the upper 70's throwing it to both halves of the plate from a high three-quarters slot the two seem showed more life with arm side run, the curveball showed slurvy actions in the upper 60's bu flattens out at times when he gets on the side of it, he also showed a straight change with more consistency then the curveball. In the outfield he fields the ball out front with a little crow hop into his throws carrying him momentum well and doing a nice job getting on top of the baseball. On the infield he showed a shorter arm action with a quick release making accurate throws on the run, the feet get ahead of the glove some times but the glove actions are average. Right-handed hitter, starts narrow with a coiled stance and coils into his load more, the lower half clears early with a level bat path impacting the ball mostly to the pull side.
