2026 PG National Uncommitted Showcase (2027 Grads)
Archer Baughman is a 2027 RHP/SS with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Philipsburg, PA who attends Philipsburg-Osceola Area. Athletic build with good present strength. Has a fluid medium length arm action and a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball sat in the mid-80's with good carry up in the zone and some running life down. Showed nice feel for shaping a mid-70's breaking ball, uses primary 11/5 curveball but will sweep the breaking ball occasionally in swing/miss situations. Change up was firm with good arm speed and some fade. Has a mature idea how to pitch and keep hitters off balance and work the strike zone. 7.12 runner in the sixty. Secondary shortstop on defense, comes and gets the ball well, charges the ball comfortably, quick transfers, most comfortable throwing from a lower slot. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a big barrel wrap start, tends to get his foot down late with a longer swing path, some raw bat speed but has adjustments to make to get to it consistently. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
