Spencer Trygg is a 2008 right handed pitcher with a 6'2'', 200 lb. frame from Mountain View, CA, who attends Saint Francis High School. Trygg has present strength in his body. On the mound he throws from an extended 3/4 arm slot with a long arm circle. He gets some slinging action at times. Trygg has arm speed and he gets closed. He has a well paced delivery with deception. Trygg gets arm side run on his fastball that topped out at 80 mph, while working from 78-80 mph. He maintains arm speed on his change at 72 mph with sinking action. He also mixes in a 11/5 curveball at 68 mph. He throws all three pitches for strikes, and he is not afraid to pitch to contact. He is aggressive. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an average base with a short stride. He shows bat speed, and he gets leverage showing raw power. He is a projectable player with upside.
