Thomas Cross is a 2024 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Brandon, MS who attends Jackson Preparatory. Medium and lean frame with more room to fill and plenty of time to do so. Ran a 7.84 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the plate with a deep crouched stance, loose arm at take back that gets long at times, upright release and will rush it at times, developing arm strength, 2.30 second best pop time in drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher, side step delivery into a belt high leg lift, takes his arm back to a loose arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, fastball topped out at 70 mph with sinking action, gets it to both sides, showed depth to his 12-6 curveball. Right-handed hitter, wide based stance in the box, toe tap trigger into contact, closes off with stride and uses primarily his upper half, adjustments to timing and lower half involvement will do dividends.
