Brendon Demuth is a 2021 RHP/2B, SS, MIF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from North Las Vegas, NV who attends Cimarron-Memorial. Large, high waisted frame with long limbs and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch, full arm action through the back side and gets down to a submarine slot at release. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, worked around the zone well and shows nice sinking life to fastball; creates deception on release and mixes a curveball up to 64 mph with depth through the zone. Two-pitch mix which plays nicely off one another. Fields the ball out front with two hands in the infield, works to a lower slot with quickness to arm, shows carry across the diamond, showed balance on the charge, very accurate with throws to first base. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with a spread stance, utilized a short leg lift trigger for timing. Loads hands back at start of swing, shows looseness to swing and hits the ball out front, worked the ball around to all parts of the field, can shorten load moving into contact. Good student.
