Braylen Timmins is a 2022 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Lancaster, TX who attends South Grand Prairie. Long and lean athletic body with lots of physical projection remaining. Very long off-line arm action on the mound, will likely have to shorten up his arm stroke at the next level for improved consistency and command, extended 3/4's arm slot creates big angle to the plate, big stride out front, arm is loose and fast coming through. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, tries to work it side to side. Slow curveball has big sweeping depth and huge angle, slows arm on it some but this will be a very tough pitch for left handed hitters. Developing change up. Two-way potential. Has a loose left handed swing with lift and separation and present bat speed, has big raw power potential and some feel for the barrel. 7.24 runner, plays both the outfield and first base. Good student. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
