Luke Rossi is a 2022 SS/2B/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Salinas, CA who attends Palma. Big and strong athletic build. 7.09 runner, moves well in the middle infield, charges the ball aggressively and works through it well, good instincts for his angles to the ball, clean hands out front, short cut off arm stroke can be improved. Right handed hitter, starts with a big barrel wrap and creates whip in his swing, gets the ball in the air consistently and shows power potential, ball comes off the barrel loud and hard, can be more consistent in his timing but has plenty of offensive potential. Excellent student. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect Team.
