Johann Liz is a 2021 2B/MIF, OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Newark, NJ who attends East Side. Recorded a 7.78 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, slender frame with long lever and room to fill out. Primary infielder with quick footwork, good lower half usage into the fielding process and a clean funnel out in front. Shows good lateral range with quick transfers and the ability to throw from multiple angles. Recorded arm strength up to 78 mph across the diamond in drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide, slightly open stance with a high back elbow and a hanging leg lift. Middle-to-opposite field approach with elongated and slightly upward swing path. Shows developing bat-to-ball skills with best impact to the right side of the field when on time. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.
