Logan Alderson is a 2023 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Pasadena, TX who attends Deer Park. Slender young build with lots of room and time to get stronger. Compact arm action that hides the ball, 3/4's arm slot, slow paced delivery that is well controlled, gets into his hips well. Steady mid-70's fastball, topped out at 77 mph, gets good running action at times, works his fastball low in the zone consistently. Slider shows nice potential, is throw with full arm speed and good power and is hard and tight at its highest velocities. Has present skills if he can keep getting stronger. Right handed hitter, big drift into contact leaves him late at times, arm heavy swing with a line drive swing plane. 7.46 runner, played both in field and outfield, throws from a low arm slot from both, has some athleticism moving to the ball in the infield. Good student.
