Charlie Eberle is a 2022 OF/1B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Pittsburgh, PA who attends Upper Saint Clair HS. Charlie is a medium framed, well-proportioned, strong and athletic player. In addition to his ability on the field, Charlie is an exemplary student. He ran an impressive 7.14 60 yard dash. A primary OF, Charlie shows certain skill that should allow for continued growth as a defender. His 62 mph throws are consistently accurate and his arm strength should continue to improve as he moves through his last two years of HS ball. At the plate, Charlie has an easy style that allows his hands to work the barrel through contact well. His balance and weight shift are sound. He stays inside the ball well and does a good job of getting his barrel to and through contact. He shows noticeable rotational strength with each pass. Charlie shows emerging ability that should only continue to improve over the next two years. Solid fundamental foundation that is ready for growth.
