Carter Kelsey is a 2022 RHP/C, 3B, OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends The Kinkaid. Medium frame with lean, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.31 seconds. Primary pitcher, works from the stretch, directional stride, high 3/4 slot, fastball worked 76-81 mph with some ride, pounded the zone to both sides, showed curveball with good depth. Hits from even-based stance with locked hands back into bar, rotates well and gets hips involved, middle to pull approach, good strength. Worked out behind the plate, high set, length to transfer and footwork, runs it out, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Very good student.
