David Robertson is a 2028 3B/RHP/UT with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Westford, MA who attends Austin Prep. Longer big and strong athletic build. Primary third baseman on defense who also has two-way potential on the mound. Right handed hitter, sets up in an open stance with a low hand load, has present bat speed and strength at contact, big impact to the pull side and mid-field, lots of power projection. 5.36 runner in the forty. Primary third baseman on defense, arm strength is his best defensive tool, plenty of carry across the diamond and made accurate throws, tends to bend at the waist to field, fielded the ball cleanly, has also played first base. Took a turn on the mound and has two-way potential. Works from a high leg raise delivery with good drive down the mound. Fastball was in the mid-80's and topped out at 87 mph, comes out of his hand well and gets ride through the zone. Curveball had some tightness in the low 70's with lots of two-plane downer depth. Very good student. Named to the PG New England Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
