Elijah Jenkins is a 2022 C/MIF with a 5-9 162 lb. frame from Jackson, WI who attends West Bend East. Recorded a 7.11 second 60 yard dash time. Medium frame with a lean and slender build. Primary catcher with quick feet and an athletic lower half, stays low throughout the process and is explosive out of the chute. Quick transfer and release with solid arm strength, throws were on the bag, recorded a 1.96 second pop time at 75 mph. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and small leg lift trigger. Present hand quickness and bat speed, short swing path with good balance and extension. Shows the ability to elevate, fires the hips well, at his best when staying up the middle. Pulled his hands through and smashed a high and inside pitch for a double in the game. Good player with present tools and an excellent chance to improve. Great student.
