Josiah Bargas is a 2024 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF, OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Grand Oaks. Out of an athletic frame, Bargas has additional room to add strength and continue to fill out. From the infield, he displayed good range and horizontal movements with soft hands. Bargas was confident in his approach and has a solid arm. At the plate, he stayed inside the ball well and successfully finished through the ball. His swing was easily repeatable and flashed power potential. On the mound, Bargas pitched primarily out of the stretch from a high 3/4 arm slot. He showcased a long circular arm motion with a secondary curveball with 11-5 movement. Gaining a better feel for his off speed will make Bargas a more complete pitcher in the future. Named to 14u South Top Prospect List.
