Walt Sieggreen is a 2021 RHP/3B, OF, UT with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Collierville, TN who attends Houston High school. Large to Extra-Large frame with an athletic build. Broad shoulders and high waisted showing some room to fill out physically. Ran a 6.92 second sixty yard dash. Primary Righthanded Pitcher, showing balanced mechanics as he worked into a longer takeaway. Delivered from a three-quarter slot and hid the baseball well proving it hard to pick up out of hand. Repeats mechanics well while he worked very quickly keeping his defense in the game. Fastball showed some arm side run and depth as it was up to 83 MPH. Mixed in a slider of sorts that had more cut than depth. Landed it for strikes and got some swings and misses with it. Also flashed a changeup that he did not have the same confidence in as his other two pitches but it showed some upside. Secondary Outfielder, stays behind the baseball as he sits on it and then comes through it. Gathers it and then works into a long arm stroke. Accuracy to throws as he threw it 81 MPH from the outfield in drills. Righthanded Hitter, starting from a balanced stance with low hands. Front side opens up a bit during swing and at contact as he looks to pull the baseball when possible. Longer swing path to the baseball. Outstanding Student.
