Paxton Singleton is a 2022 1B/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Kingwood, TX who attends Kingwood. Tall and angular athletic build with good present strength for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from an exaggerated open and tall stance, short arm intensive swing with tight hands through the zone, pull side contact, has adjustments to make in his set up for swing consistency and has the strength and potential length to develop some raw power in the future. 7.63 runner, has good hands and fields the ball cleanly out front. Also pitched, high leg lift delivery with a long and loose full arm action coming through. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight. Slurve type breaking ball with a somewhat lower release point, threw strikes with both pitches. Good athlete with plenty of strength and a chance to keep improving. Good student.
