Aidan Devane is a 2028 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Sayville, NY who attends Sayville. Long and lean high-waisted build with tones of physical projection remaining. Primary shortstop on defense who has some two-way potential on the mound. Left handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a compact hand load and quick leg lift timer, has present bat speed, gets the barrel out front and extends well, was consistent in his timing and barrel path, plenty of loud impact with lots of projection still there. Has smooth actions on the move at shortstop and shows his athleticism well, arm works well with solid present arm strength and more to come, adjusts his glove well fielding, 3/4's arm slot and made accurate throws. Works from a full wind up with a shorter arm action and a 3/4's arm slot, arm is loose and fast. Fastball worked in the mid 80's with lots more velocity there. Tended to slow his arm and guide his secondary pitches. Elite level student. Named to the PG New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
