Jean Michael Then is a 2020 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Miami Christian (Miami, FL). Medium and athletic frame, projects well with room to continue to fill out physically. Ran a 7.18 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with athleticism to his actions, sure hands and footwork gathering the baseball, ranges well to both sides, transfers well getting his arm and body into a good position to throw, topped out at 82 mph across the diamond. Switch hitter, legitimate switch hitting tools with identical grades from both sides, starts his swing from the left side with a small leg lift trigger, gets downhill with swing path finishing with extension through contact, stays more compact from the right side with similar barrel ability, balanced stroke and works the ball on a line.
