Brandon Sippel is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Bellevue, NE who attends Bellevue East. Long, loose build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.39 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Flashed aggressive actions working to and through the baseball to go along with clean footwork on the approach as well. Flashed confident glove actions fielding to the side of the baseball with clean transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to the bases topping out at 82 mph from the outfield. Right handed hitter. Employs a wide stance with a toe tap trigger and a high back elbow set up. Showed a compact, line drive plane through the zone looking to drive the ball to and through the gaps in the outfield. Displayed good barrel control creating consistently driven contact when on time and squared throughout batting practice. Also pitched. Employs a small side step to belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound. Lands online with the plate and stays online with the plate through finish. Features a two pitch mix with a fastball with some early cut up to 76 mph complemented with a curveball with big depth and softer spin at 65 mph.
