Miles Thomas is a 2022 C/RHP/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Tuscaloosa, AL who attends Hillcrest. Recorded a 7.30 second 60 yard dash time. Young build with a large and projectable frame. Primary catcher with a side straddle set up and loose transfer. Secondary corner infielder with a short arm action and quick release. Skills translate better as a first baseman, showed good turns during his round. Right-handed hitter with knocked knee stance and small leg lift trigger. Rotational upper body swing, some bat speed present. Right-handed pitcher with a compact arm action and low three-quarters slot. Slow paced operation, shows coordination in the delivery. Accelerates well to the plate, fastball has easy jump out of the hand with more velo to come. Has an exciting frame and serious projectability on the mound. Excellent student. Named to the 2020 Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
