Jacob Woodlief is a 2022 3B/RHP/UT with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Youngsville, NC who attends Franklinton. Large to Extra-Large frame with a long, wiry build showing some room to fill down the road. Projectable body. Ran a 7.60 second sixty yard dash. Primary Thirdbaseman funneling the baseball with a bend at waist gather. Stays back on the baseball while showing a slower transfer making sure it is clean. Longer arm action on release with throws around the bag. Secondary Righthanded pitcher showing a balanced motion with a slow paced delivery. Medium arm circle in the back to a high three-quarter release. Stayed around the zone as he relied on his upper half to create velocity. Fastball up to 73 MPH. Righthanded hitter starting from a spread out stance. Big bat wrap before showing an all weight transfer into throws. Somewhat downhill swing path looking to drive the baseball low and hard. Proved he could lift the baseball and drive it gap to gap as well. Outstanding Student.
