Manny Garcia Jr is a 2022 RHP/C with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Amarillo, TX who attends Randall. Medium frame with a bigger frame with strength. Can continue to add moving forward. Ran a 7.23 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a side step delivery into a leg lift above the belt. Lands slightly open down the mound. Utilizes drop and drive actions to the plate. Creates a lot of body tilt at release finishing to the first base side. Long action in the back into an extended and low three-quarter release. Hides the ball well and can cause some deception to the plate. Produces solid arm side run on the fastball topping out at 79 MPH. Developing release on the off-speed pitches but will show some depth when getting out in front. Also worked out as a secondary infielder. Fields underneath with athletic movements to the ball. Longer arm action in the back. Stays mostly accurate to the bags with developing carry across. Switch hitter batting only from the right side here. Narrow and slightly open stance to start with a big leg lift trigger. Stays on the backside into contact. Looks to get the ball elevated and works the middle of the field with contact.
