2005 Unsigned Seniors Showcase
Harrison is a wiry and athletic 5-11, 175 lb outfielder from Michigan. He showed good overall athletic ability and some baseball skills at the showcase. Harrison ran the 60 in 7.10 on the wet slow track and ran the bases very aggressively during the games. He has solid college level arm strength in the outfield at 83 mph and had good on-line carry on his throws. Harrison is also very aggressive as a hitter and takes a full, hard swing against most pitches. He sets up with high hands and a big leg lift trigger and attacks pitches out front. He has some good bat speed and the ball came off his bat hard on occasion but he was often reaching for pitches. Harrison could keep improving as a hitter with more strength and a calmer, more balanced approach. He's athletic and will play college baseball.
