Jacob Maurer is a 2021 RHP/IF, OF with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Beavercreek, OH who attends Carroll. Extra-Large frame with a lean, wiry type build showing plenty of room to fill out down the road. High waist. Ran a 7.11 second sixty yard dash. Primary Righthanded Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch as he went on to show a fast paced motion. Drops & drives as he finishes downhill. Longer arm action with an over the top delivery. Fast arm showing more velocity in the tank. Fastball showed as heavy as he ran it up to 81 MPH. Also mixed in a depthy 11-to-5 curveball that he landed for strikes. Righthanded Hitter, starting upright and relaxed with high hands. Hands sink into load as he goes on to show a linear swing path. Looks to get inside the baseball and drive it the other way. Outstanding Student.
