Samuel Hayen is a 2021 OF/2B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Weston, FL who attends Cypress Bay. Compact and skinny frame with plenty of room to continue to fill out physically. Ran a 7.73 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield fielding the baseball out in front, transitions the baseball well to his throwing hand, crow hops into release and could add additional lower half involvement into his release, compact arm action with some whip to his arm at take back, topped out at 75 mph from the outfield with accuracy to his target. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a wide base and a high hand set, starts his swing with a small leg lift trigger, compact swing with a downhill plane to contact, will continue to add pop off of the barrel with additional weight shifted into contact maturity and reps, middle of the field approach.
