Brandon Schell is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Houston Christian. Medium frame with a lean build and plenty of room to fill. Recorded a 7.79 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield with sound footwork, gets around it well and fields it close to the body, will gain confidence with the glove over time, quick release from lower arm slot and developing arm strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works solely from the stretch and rides the back side well, short arm circle up to a high three-quarters slot, loose arm with some deception to the release, flashes feel for a downer breaking ball with good 12 to 6 shape. Right-handed hitter, stats upright and even, simple leg lift trigger, shows loose hands and works inside the ball, stays on a line drive barrel plane with a middle of the field approach and developing bat speed. Good student.
